EHS TRAINING
We are committed to train our staff on all environmental and safety and health issues. Our EHS Manager plans the training program for all staff, sub- contractors and vendors (if necessary). Annual budget is set aside for trainings.
Trainings include safe work procedures, 5S housekeeping, lifting supervisor safety course, rigger and signalman safety course, safety orientation course construction), safety orientation course (petroleum) and cleanroom protocols These courses are conducted in-house or by external training schools.
Under the new framework for Workplace Safety and Health, one of the major means of reducing risks at workplace is that all employees, management and principals must identify the safety and health hazards and to take appropriate actions to eliminate or reduce these risks.
Before the implementation of these mandatory regulations, Bradford Logistics has been assessing risk and has always taken safety into consideration for all work processes whether in our own premises or in our customers' premises. Hazard identification and evaluation of risk are conducted by the management, team leaders and movers altogether. After the assessment, controls are put in place to minimize the risks or eliminate the hazards so that all residual risks are low and manageable.
We also conduct an environmental aspects/impacts analysis to identify the aspects in our work activities. Aspects are inputs or outputs that interact with the environment, and we have programs to mitigate these so as not to cause pollution issues. And we comply to all regulations governing any issues on the aspects.
